Welcome to Central Iowa Martial Arts

Testing will be Saturday, March 20 and it will mark the end of Grandmaster Ferry’s teaching career. After 44 years, he has decided to step down from instructing. All of us who have trained with him throughout his career are lucky and grateful to have had such a remarkable instructor and we sincerely thank him.

While we won’t be seeing Grandmaster Ferry on a regular basis, we hope to see him now and then, whenever he would like to drop in. Plans are under way to continue his legacy and keep classes going. Details are still getting ironed out but the hope is to get back to a pre-COVID schedule as soon as it seems reasonable – possibly by the beginning of April.

More updates will be posted as plans solidify.

Once again, to Grandmaster Ferry…thank you for all the years!
